Stamp Out Loneliness

Middle Passage II-Reentry Letter Writing Ministry is currently collecting stamps and funds to purchase 500,000 stamps for currently incarcerated men and women.
When is the last time you wrote a letter to a friend or family member you know is in prison? When is the last time you got a letter from someone in prison? We all know someone in prison. We have come to regard people in prison as the throw away portion of the population and this needs to change!
Middle Passage II-Re-entry wishes to support them:
Until we Stamp out Loneliness

To you it is a 44 cent stamp. So tiny that it is easily misplaced or overlooked.
To him/her it is a lifeline to her children, family, and friends.
To him/her, working inside the prison for 23 cents an hour, it is worth almost two hours of paid labor.
The stamps will be distributed by the facilities. so that men and women can maintain or resume communication with their loved ones, including their children who may live too far away to visit.
